According to a report by Mirchi9, the OTT giant has paid Rs. Rs 22 crore for digital streaming rights after movie theater. Well, for a blockbuster movie like Pushpa, the amount is a bit less. But, it seems that the makers had made a deal before the release of the film.

While the southern version will premiere today, the makers reportedly talked about stopping the streaming of the Hindi dubbed version from the OTT platform as they felt that the film would still do well in the Hindi belt. In the Indian market, Pushpa has done much better than many of the big Bollywood films released last year.

Allu Arjun is said to be a Pan India star now, and his fans in the Hindi strip are eagerly awaiting his Bollywood debut. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will make her Bollywood debut with the film Mission Majnu in which Siddharth Malhotra has played the lead role. She will also be seen in Farewell with Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, Telugu star Mahesh Babu praised Pushpa. He tweeted, “@alluarjun as Pushpa is stunning, original and sensational… a stellar act @aryasukku proves again that his cinema is raw, rustic and brutally honest… a class apart.”
