Under the leadership of Salman Khan, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has become one of the most anticipated Bollywood films since its announcement. Over the last few days, makers and actors have been catching the eye for a variety of reasons. The film became embroiled in controversy when news broke that Ayush Sharma was out of the project. It was later reported that Ayush decided to leave after facing some creative differences with director Farhad Samji.
However, a couple of reports later surfaced of Salman Khan and co-producers interfering in Farhad’s direction and other media reports revealed that reports of Farhad not coming to the set and not directing the film were false.
For some time now, numerous reports about Eid, sometimes Diwali, have confused the fans. Now, for the first time, director Farhad Samji has reacted to this and denied the news of not directing the film.
Clearing the air, Farhad Samji told source, “Everyone is writing their own version of the film, but we have not made any official announcement. The media is either reading my mind or just doing some sort of prediction. I truly believe, that silence is golden. I believe, ‘Toofan Ke Pehele Khamoshi Hoti Hai… And Yeh Woh Khamoshi Ka Pal Hai’.”
“We will talk about the film and release all our assets at the right time. We are working hard every day and I do not want to fall into the trap of praising myself or my team or the film. By the end of the year When we release the film in the cinema hall, let the audience decide and let us decide. We are working very hard, “added Farhad Samji.
After Aayush Sharma’s departure, sometimes Eid sometimes Diwali team later added Jesse Gul and Siddharth Nigam to the board. Pooja Hegde is also in the lead role in this film while it marks Shehnaaz Gill‘s Bollywood debut. The film will be shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad in the next few months.
