Brahmastra: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s film finally come to an end after 5 long years

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's film Brahmastra has finally come to an end. Director Ayan Mukerji recently announced the film's release after the end of Varanasi's three-day schedule. Expressing happiness while sharing a photo with the lead actors, Ian revealed that the shooting of the film has finally come to an end after a long period of five years.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor‘s film Brahmastra has finally come to an end. Director Ayan Mukerji recently announced the film’s release after the end of Varanasi’s three-day schedule. Expressing happiness while sharing a photo with the lead actors, Ian revealed that the shooting of the film has finally come to an end after a long period of five years.

Announcing the rap, Ayan Mukerji also shared some special photos. He wrote, “And finally… It’s a Wrap! 5 years since we took our first shot on Brahmāstra, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once-in-a-lifetime journey!!! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi – a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy and blessings! Exciting days ahead, last lap ahead! 09.09.2022 – Here we come!”

An enthusiastic Alia also shared a video announcing the film’s wrapping in which she wrote, “We started shooting in 2018. And now … finally .. The filming of Brahmastra (Part One) comes to an end ! I’ve been wanting to say this for such a long time..ITS A WRAP!!!!!!!!”

Karan Johar, who is supporting the film, also shared a sweet video of the Varanasi shoot and wrote, And this wonderful, exciting, thrilling journey…one filled with the utmost hardwork, dedication, love & passion has come to an end. Only for it to unravel on the big screens for you to experience!! #Brahmastra Part One – Shiva is coming to cinemas on 09.09.2022! !!

When Ayan introduced the concept of Brahmastra during the shooting of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the filmmaker started shooting for the film around 2017-18. The film is set as a trilogy and promises to bring a spectacle never seen before on the big screen.

Apart from Alia and Ranbir, the film also stars veteran Amitabh Bachchan, Southern megastars Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and even Shah Rukh Khan in an alleged cameo role.

The release date of the film was announced recently and Alia-Ranbir‘s first look has also come out. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will be released in theaters on September 9, 2022 in 5 Indian languages ​​- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
